Birthe Ostermann

I am a painting artist, born in Denmark, but live in Germany since 1986. I have always being drawing since I was a child, but I have first discovered painting with different mediums since 2010.
My preferred medium is oil on canvas. I love landscape paintings - especially the old impressionists. My inspirations come from the nature, where I spend a lot of time painting pleinair, but I also get inspirations from old impressionists.

I have studied creative paintings at the open university Hamburg and Art understanding at the open university Darmstadt
Also I have studiet at a ukrainian artist Max Skoblinsky and at a russion artist Igor Saharov.
I am a member of the Art-society Spektrum88-Rheine e.V. and the Art-society KuenstlerinnenForum Muensterland.

I had exhibitions in Rheine, Ibbenbüren, Bremen, Münster, Borne (Netherlands) and Düsseldorf, Venedig, Zürich.
