EXHIBITIONS

My name is B.L Salim, I'm spanish and I was born in northern Morocco and raised between visible and invisible borders.
did not come here to decorate walls.
I came to speak of what hurts, what we silence, and what keeps pulsing even when no one dares to name it.
Each piece I present is not an image — it’s an open fracture, a living memory, a door to what could never be said.

I don’t hold an academic degree in art, but I carry scars turned into symbols.
I’ve spent years reconstructing my broken story, and now I project it into faces, bodies, and fragments that scream what the world chose to suppress.

This is my first visible exhibition. But it is not the beginning.
It’s simply the moment where art begins to speak for me.

Each piece is one of a kind.
Like every wound.
Like every rebirth.

Self-taught artist
Educated through exile, cultural fragmentation, and inner reconstruction.
I studied Coaching as part of my personal journey of emotional healing and human connection — tools that now inform the soul of my artistic work.
My learning comes from memory, migration, and the search for meaning.

ARTIST STATEMENT — SALIM BELABBASS

My work is not merely visual: it is a threshold.
Each image is a doorway into the psyche, a fracture in time, a fragment of the soul that has survived disintegration and returned encoded anew.

I create from a place many have forgotten: raw emotion, silent transformation, the crack that precedes rebirth.
I do not seek pleasing beauty, but rather impact, memory, and symbolic liberation.

Each piece I present is part of my personal ritual, a visual translation of inner processes that have no name, but carry vibration. That’s why these limited editions are not just decorative objects: they are living portals.

The value of each piece lies in its charge
emotional,
spiritual,
symbolic,
and in the path it took to be born.

I do not sell paintings.
I consecrate fragments of metamorphosis.

Whoever acquires one of these works does not merely own a piece of art:
they hold a key, a mirror, and a sacred wound sealed by fire.

Sacred Fragments – Solo Exhibition

My first official exhibition, launched on Saatchi Art. A series of symbolic digital works exploring Amazigh identity, cultural fragmentation, and inner rebirth.
Each piece is a visual act of memory, resistance, and spiritual reconstruction.
