Martina Ledermann

Born in 1968 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, Martina is a dedicated artist specializing in botanical illustrations and naturalistic landscapes created with the techniques of watercolors, colored pencils, red chalk pencils or colored and black ink. Her work captures the intricate beauty of plants and flowers with both precision and artistic sensitivity, bringing each piece to life through vibrant colors and fine detail.


Her passion for nature and careful observation shines through in every illustration, making her work a vibrant celebration of botanical beauty.

Martina deepened her artistic expertise through a specialized art course at CalArts in 2020, which greatly influenced her approach to naturalistic botanical and landscape art. Committed to continuous growth, she regularly participates in art workshops and courses to refine her skills and stay inspired.

During her school education, she had art lessons by the painter and poster artist Hans Braun from Germany.
