Brian Normandeau

Brian Normandeau (BriN.) is a Canadian contemporary artist known for bold colour, rich texture, strong composition, and a distinctive approach that moves between abstraction, figurative work, landscape, and narrative painting.

After more than thirty-five years in the restaurant and hospitality industry, Brian became a full-time artist, bringing with him a lifelong curiosity about people, places, and the experiences that connect us. Self-taught, his practice is guided by Intentional Fluidity: Clear Intention. Creative Freedom. This approach balances purposeful decisions with the freedom to explore, change direction, and discover what a painting can become.

His evolving body of work has led to CubiFusion, a contemporary artistic framework that lets different visual approaches coexist while staying connected through structure, emotion, observation, and story.

Through bold colour, texture, simplified forms, and expressive composition, Brian creates paintings intended to do more than fill a space. His work invites the viewer to pause, discover something personal, and form their own connection with the painting.
