About Brigitte Yoshiko Pruchnow

In Brigitte's work photorealism and patterns of light and shadow on different surfaces meet to create captured moments of deep tranquility and cinematic quality. Her compositions with unusual croppings and perspectives are a tell-sign of her education as film maker and her Asian heritage with inspiration coming from traditional Japanese woodprints and calligraphy.

She has showed in Europe and Japan at art fairs, group and solo shows, and her work is found in collections in Europe, the U.S., Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East.
