Bruno Vanoudenhove

I am a Chicago-based artist specializing in large-scale black-and-white acrylic paintings inspired by architecture and urban landscapes.

My work focuses on structure, rhythm, and light, exploring the emotional presence of buildings and cityscapes through a minimalist, monochrome palette. I remove distractions such as people and vehicles to emphasize form, atmosphere, and timelessness.

Chicago is my primary muse, particularly its architectural heritage, riverfronts, and skyline. My paintings balance photorealistic detail with abstraction, inviting viewers to slow down and experience the city through texture, contrast, and scale.
