Being born and growing up with a deformity isn't easy as people use that as an excuse to be a bully. I've been bullied and laughed at..just because I was born with a cleft lip and palate. I got depressed and that's when I started sketching. I found my salvation in it. I did sketching for years but from last year I started painting as well. I used to think what good can colors do? But painting provided me a wider perspective to pour myself out. I paint my vulnerability on canvas and I want to make people look at my art and feel something.. Whether it's happiness.. sorrow.. hope or darkness.
As Vincent Van Gogh said: "Art is for those who are broken by life."
