Calire Calire

I am a visual artist based in Switzerland, working primarily with acrylic painting and texture-based processes. My work explores social behavior in public spaces and the ways individuals are shaped by collective environments.

Through layered textures, I create fragile, elongated human figures inspired by the language of sculpture and presence. These figures often appear on the edge of disappearance, reflecting the tension between visibility and erasure in contemporary society.

Many of my figures are without eyes, removing individual identity to focus instead on shared social behaviors and collective patterns. My work is not about portraiture, but about how we exist together within structured social spaces.

I use vivid colors to create contrast with these fragile forms, highlighting the paradox between the desire to be seen and the risk of being erased.

Through Saatchi Art, I aim to share my work with an international audience interested in contemporary painting that combines visual impact with social and existential reflection.
