Candan Kadakal

As a graduate of Industrial Engineering from Yildiz Technical University and Human Resources from Istanbul University, I bridge the gap between analytical discipline and the boundless freedom of art. Being a self-taught artist allows me to create without academic constraints, resulting in a raw and authentic creative process. For me, painting is not just a profession; it is a 24/7 passion where colors become my primary language.
In my practice, I explore a diverse range of mediums, from acrylics on canvas to the fluid movements of alcohol inks on Yupo paper, often integrated with rapidograph and charcoal details. My abstract works are characterized by vibrant palettes and the luminous touch of gold leaf. I believe in a living dialogue with my paintings; I revisit each piece repeatedly until the artwork itself tells me it is complete. My ultimate goal is to radiate the immense joy and vibrant energy I fell during the creative process to art lovers across the globe.
