Can Uluer

Can Uluer - Fine ArtistIstanbul - Turkey Artist Uluer, son of a painter father (Rami Uluer), borned in Ankara Turkey in 1960. Since little child he was interested with the painting art. After he studied Archeology and History of Art, in 1980 he opened his own ceramic studio. Some of his works was placed in different residences. He had his first exibition in 1983 Ankara Yap Kredi Art Gallery. In 1989 with his brother in the memory of his father and where his father's paintings are exibited, he opened a museum restaurant. Meanwhile in stanbul he continue the painting and conception works. He was interested with the restoration and the constraction of buildings, and with Architectural designs. His first solo exhibition was held in 1983 at Yapı Kredi Art Gallery in Ankara. Today he continues to work from his studios in Istanbul and Italy.

Uluer has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions throughout his career. In recent years, his work has been presented through international exhibitions and art projects in Italy, including exhibitions organized in collaboration with Mega Art Gallery. His painting After Love was included in an international exhibition and catalogue during the 2022 Venice Biennale period. He also participated in ArtContact Istanbul 2022, one of Türkiye’s leading contemporary art fairs.

His artworks and artistic practice have received international editorial recognition through Musetouch Visual Arts Magazine, where he was featured in the special editions Painting Sensuality and Silence. The publication presented his work to an international audience and highlighted his exploration of the expressive potential of the human body and the emotional dimensions of contemporary figurative painting.
