Carina Ilinca

Born in 1996 in Bucharest, Romania, Carina is an artist with multiple plastic orientations .Her artistic practice is grounded in a personal visual research that blends symbolism, introspection,almost theatrical composition.

Her recent works explore themes such as identity, memory, and femininity, articulated through a contemporary figurative language enriched with dreamlike and metaphorical elements—veiled figures, ambiguous objects, animals, fabrics, and intimate interior spaces that evoke psychological or subconscious realms. Carina’s imagery reflects a poetic tension between fragility and inner strength, where objects act as silent carriers of layered narratives.

Working with acrylic and oil on canvas, she creates dense yet chromatically balanced atmospheres that suggest both the intimacy and symbolic mental landscapes. Each painting becomes a symbolic construction, inviting viewers to delve into the invisible layers of reality.
