In the early 2000s I started my project CutCa creating unique pieces with cardboard and other recycled materials.
Cardboards used in all types of packaging, when cut and folded show their strength, endurance, and adaptability. Their recovery does not stop at the material alone, but indulges in all the graphic details that make it attractive and identify a product.
It is exactly here that I look for a symbol, a message, a drawing, or a colour and I highlight it.
All the objects are handmade using scissors, and a black marker that underlines both the edges and the shapes.

In 1981 I received my Diploma di Maestro D'Arte from Istituto Statale D'Arte, Catania.

In 2016 I exhibited in one of the rooms of the laboratories of the Puglisi-Cosentino Foundation (CT).
In 2017, during the 57th Biennale D'Arte in Venice, I participated in the group show "Fin Che La Barca Va", promoted by Vernice Contemporanea (Circuito OFF 57), with the piece "Scarti". Subsequently the same work was transferred to Seville, during the event partner "Mientras La Barca Aguante".
In April 2019, during the exhibition event ArchiBioContest, a bio design competition, promoted by the Order of Architects PPC Catania, I received a special mention for my achievements in recycling cardboard.
In 2019 (15 June - 15 July) I premiered my solo exhibition "My Soul Forever" at the Associazione Culturale Tabaré in Catania.
