Creating colorful paintings is what I love to do. I use a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastels. I have been painting for almost twenty years, and am very active in our local art shows and events. Presently, I am taking classes from Marco Bronzini, who lives in Naples, FL.

I live on Marco Island, FL and love painting scenes from this colorful and sunny paradise. Marco Island is located just south of Naples, FL on the Gulf of Mexico. Many of my pieces highlight the scenes and wildlife found here in southwest Florida, but I also enjoy creating abstract paintings which you can see on my website, .

I am actively involved with the Marco Island Foundation of the Arts, the Marco Island Center for the arts and Goodland Arts Alliance.

Many visitors come to Marco Island, Florida each year for their vacations or to escape cold weather. My paintings can be found all over the United States and some in Europe. I hope to reach more art lovers through Saatchi Art.

I am a graduate of Youngstown State University, and received my master degree from Kent State University, with a major in education and administration. I served as a teacher, and later a school principal in the state of Ohio for 26 years.

After retiring from public education, I began taking art classes and concentrating on learning to paint. I was very fortunate to have outstanding professional artists available both in Ohio and in Florida to be my instructors. I continue to take painting classes to refine my skiils and to continue to be motivated.
