Carrie Lacey Boerio

The goal of my work is to offer visual joy through the use of radiant color. I am most inspired by nature, and often paint en plein air.

I am a native of Pittsburgh and a long-time resident of Columbus, Ohio. I became a full-time artist after working at nonprofits to help vulnerable children and medical innovators. My art can be found in private and public collections across the United States and in Japan.

My degree is in communications from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I am self-taught as an artist, or more accurately, self-directed. I have studied with nationally renowned instructors and through appreciation of masterpieces in museums around the world.
