Cassandra’s sculptures explore how memory is the thread that guides us through the labyrinth of identity. DAUGHTERS OF MOTHER EARTH and SOULJA, her recent one woman shows, bear witness to an astounding personal galaxy. For over a decade, the artist-in-residence at BAAD!, her current studio is in Red Hook.
Cassandra studied at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Printmaking "La Esmeralda" in Mexico City.
Cassandra has also shown at the East/West Gallery in London, the Chopo Museum in Mexico City, the Leslie Lohman Museum in New York and smack dab in the middle of nowhere.
