I am a Canadian artist interested in the alchemy of painting and transformation. Hence the Butterfly series, which is old metaphor of change and re-birth imagined through my lens.As someone with a facial difference, I'm interested in the miracle of the caterpillar becoming a butterfly.... the ugly duckling into a swan.
