Carolina Busquets Sanhueza

I work mainly with mixed technique mainly acrylics, pigments, pastels, oil and pasta pen, but may include paper, wool or other materials, as well depending on the proyect at hand.The colors of the sea and the earth and sometimes the images of my dreams. Life in all it's strenght, beauty and intensity is what turns out on my canvases.

Two and a half years of Art School at the Universidad Catolica de Chile and then many years with different teachers in the US.Etching and Silkscreen at the Carrboro ArtsCenter, North Carolina. Three years of Figure and Portrait with Luis Sanchez at the Dallas Visual Art Center. Pastel and Figure at the Southern Methodist University and three years at the Dallas Museum of Art.
