Céline Carrié

Céline Carrié is a French painter born in 1995. Her artistic practice revolves around a sensitive exploration of human emotions, which she intertwines with the cycles and textures of nature. Having grown up in the south of France, she draws from this environment a particular sensitivity to colors and organic depths, which she transposes into her portraits.

Her approach is based on the concept of inner renewal, an idea she summarizes through the image of “a thousand springs” bursting forth from the soul. For the artist, every emotion is a shifting landscape in which inner beauty is constantly reborn. Her works, often inhabited by botanical or cosmic elements, illustrate this alchemy between human fragility and the vital force of the elements.

Working mainly with acrylic on canvas, she incorporates textures and metallic or golden reflections to emphasize the light emanating from her subjects. Her aesthetic is imbued with Japanese and Korean cultures, whose philosophical vision of nature she deeply admires. Self-taught, she has developed a figurative and expressionist style in which the scars of existence transform into luminous blossoms.
