Orkhan Hasanov

Born in 1991 in Baku, Azerbaijan Orkhan discovered his love of art at a young age. Following his natural artistic instinct he acquired techniques and preferences which he relates through his work. He aims to save cultural traditions and beliefs using various mediums to solidify his statement and personal views.

As he starts on a new painting, he begins a journey through a host of emotions which are expressed through color and form to offer the viewer a direct visual connection with his mind set.

More recently he has drawn significant attention for his growing collection of color burst paintings where he attempts to balance both materialism and spiritualism through lyrical abstraction. Fascinated by the world around him, Orkhan aims to lay out his emotional responses on canvas and better understand the human condition to which he is bound.

Orkhan work is widely collected by both private and corporate clients, located in Baku, and over the time spent as a amateur artist his work has appeared in a large number of exhibitions and select galleries.
