Cezary Flak

As a young man, I grew up in the countryside in the South East of Poland. I was inspired to paint, and experiment with different mediums, by influences around me. Mainly driven by the fascination absorbed from the natural environment, and the people around me. At the age of 7, my family moved to a small artist town by the sea side, in Dumfries and Galloway. In a strong art community, surrounded by likeminded individuals, where I had a lot of attention from my art teachers. They pushed me to grow, and gave me the tools which would help me establish a career as an artist, in the future. They also created, and inspired my understanding for art, and art history. Then pointed me in the right direction, to channel my creativity in the best way possible.

At the next stage of my life, I found myself in the center of the Lake District. Regardless of lifes obstacles. I successfully finished school, and attended Kendal College, for the next 3 years. Here, I studied art and design, and tried to absorb every concept, and technique best I could.

After my end of college art exhibition for charity. The knowledge and influences that I gathered, would then provide a more enriched pallet, which I could use in my future projects. I am now living ...

In 2015, I exhibited some of my personal work at a gallery located in Kendal, at the heart of the Lake District. This was my first ever official exhibition at 17, and it encouraged me to grow.
