Charlotte Cauchies

I am a French sculptor based in Montreal. I create limited-edition bronze sculptures using the traditional lost-wax casting technique.

My work focuses on a non-ostentatious representation of the female nude. Free from narrative staging, my sculptures explore inner states. Abandonment, stillness, impulse, contemplation, and openness emerge through postures in which the body is not presented as an object, but as an inhabited presence.

Through line, balance, the aesthetics of movement, and the play of light on bronze, I seek to create intimate-scale works that invite a deeper connection with oneself.

My work has been presented in exhibitions and is held in private collections in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
