Charlotte Kerswill

Charlotte was born in the United Kingdom and currently lives in the South East of England.
Her artwork is devoted to the empowerment of the female figure in a variety of styles, showcasing the power in stances that have the ability to enable an outlet of emotion through a storytelling.
Charlotte's main choice of medium is acrylic, working mostly in black and white to emphasise contrasting lights. Her brush strokes are smooth and often blended but occasionally creating texture from the pattern and path of the brush.
Charlotte also works with graphite and charcoal, in somewhat finer detail, focusing on faces to tell a story to the visual consumer.
Influenced by the fashion and editorial world, Charlotte strives to encourage the mind to read a story within a piece of art. "I believe there is a form of beauty in everything from physical appearances to traits and morals of the human being, which, when posed in an editorial fashion, can enlighten the curious mind and awaken the inner imagination. My aim is to represent beauty in a showcase of stories and paths of life using emotion and expression with the female form in a sense of fashion and editorial influence."
