My name is Paola Gonzalez Muñoz, I was born in Monterrey, Mexico
My work celebrates freedom through the majesty of nature, depicting animals such as jaguars, eagles, birds, and fish in a vibrant and contemporary style. I use joyful colors to spark positive emotions and convey a message of hope and connection with the environment.
I find inspiration in the energy of mystical animals, in bold colors, and in the beauty of the natural world. Every journey I take fuels my creativity and is reflected in my pieces, where cultures, symbols, and emotions come together.
In a world that often feels overwhelming and complex, my goal is to convey joy, peace, and happiness through my works. I believe it is essential for people to enjoy a piece that brings them joy and creates a harmonious space in their lives
began painting at a very young age. Although self-taught, I have taken courses in Mexico, the United States, and Switzerland. Colors are my principal language-through them, I express my emotions and brings them to life on the canvas. While painting, ideas, colors, and forms flow spontaneously across the canvas in a completely intuitive process. The varied themes in my work from one series to another reveal my boundless imagination and creativity. I like to transform the ordinary into extraordinary, and the monotonous into something unique and engaging.
My work has been exhibited both in Mexico and internationally. My pieces are part of private collections in various countries such as Mexico, the United States, Argentina, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi, Dubai), Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman, among others. Among her clients are Neiman Marcus and Horchow.
My paintings are also part of museum collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art of Monterrey, the Centenario Museum, and El Obispado. Additionally, my work is featured in the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City, the Cozumel and Chetumal Museums in Quintana Roo, and the Harlingen and Brownsville Museums in Texas, to name a few.
