Christine Goerigk

I am an illustrator and author from Germany, based in Ludwigshafen. In my work I explore psychological and human themes through reduced forms, symbolic imagery and a restrained color palette.
I primarily work with digital illustration and focus on relationships, inner tensions and the fragile structures that shape human experience. My visual language combines minimalism with conceptual elements and intentionally leaves space for viewers to form their own interpretations.
I have developed my artistic practice over many years through independent exploration of illustration and visual storytelling.

As a self-taught artist, I have worked in Berlin, Hamburg, Lübeck and Ludwigshafen as an illustrator, artist and author.

2021 — “Neighbors”
A series of paintings portraying people and impressions from my neighborhood during the COVID-19 pandemic.
2023 — “Pictures on the Line”
An exhibition presenting selected works created between 2015 and 2022.
