Chris Bayliss

Self-taught, I took up painting regularly in 2019 as a form of relaxation. I like to produce accessible art that brightens walls and the days of those who pass it. Working mainly in acrylics, I create compositions that capture the beauty of the world and its wild inhabitants, whether that be far flung locations from my travels or the surroundings of my home on the south coast of England. I like to produce vibrant pieces through a combination of contrasting colours that captures the light and movement of the subject.

Part of the Yellow Edge Gallery community of local artists in Gosport, Hampshire. I will be exhibiting two pieces in the "After the Fireworks" exhibit 12th-21st November 2021.
