Chris Shaw Hughes

My work currently investigates two areas: the 'site of trauma' and the discourses between traditional forms of representation and new forms of media (In other words, what art used to be and what art has become). This usually manifests itself in a kind of battle between on the one side, drawing and painting, and on the other, photography.
