Christine Vogdt studied sculpture in the Städel in Frankfurt and originally made a name for herself as an international fashion designer with her own company in the 1970's. She won the coveted Designer Preis in 1979. Following a near-fatal car accident she decided to follow her real passion: painting. Her abstract and figurative works make use of bold colors and shapes to give us her unique interpretation of nature and emotions. Her (usually large-scale) works have been exhibited in Galleries in and around Berlin to much acclaim. Christine also gives classes in painting at her beautiful lake-side house in the Berlin district of Koepenick. A prolific artist who is still going from strength to strength.
