Christophe Sola

Christophe Sola uses the texture of oil paint to create works in relief and volume. His inspirations are very eclectic, at the same time a mixture of expressionism, surrealism, abstractionism and naturalism he is inspired by the work of Dali, Miro, Picasso, Mondrian, Monnet and Van Gogh among others. The pop culture of the 80s also influences her in his work. His raw compositions borrowed from pastry give his paintings a gourmet quality which, when you step back, reveal all his art. By playing on the material he develops his unique gourmet style which questions our desires and our emotions.
