Chandra Jablonski

Born in Detroit and raised in New York, CJ started drawing before she could walk.

CJ has a vast array of mediums she works in which include fibers, painting, drawing and photography but her favorite is combining different ones and using substances not traditionally relegated to art use.

Like any relationship, art has been a tumultuous one throughout CJ’s life, but she always seems to work in at least one medium consistently in order to keep her hands busy and brain at peace.

Since the new world order started, CJ has been working as a traveling paramedic which has enabled her to see the country and capture it through the lens of a digital camera which she is slowly and reluctantly learning how to operate since the digital age took over the darkroom.

Although raised in a very artsy community, the majority of her current expressions are self taught with a few classes in various disciplines thrown in.

CJ has exhibited her work in New York, Las Vegas, Florida and North Carolina.
