I am a London based Fine Art Practitioner - I make paintings and drawings, also running 'THE ONE' Fine Art Gallery.

I have a Masters in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art and Design, University of the Arts, London, 2007 graduate.A search for an inherent radiance within certain colour schemes combined with an ongoing critical thinking process of inquiry about representation/signs/signifiers, directed me towards a kind of work dominated by concepts such as: luminosity, visual impact, desire, eros and thanatos (the relationship between the pleasure principle and the death drive) and representation and colour in a post modern context. In terms of representation I combine in my work various visual media elements interpreted from domains such as: fashion, music, the internet, advertising, etc., within a sort of 'classic' mode of 'looking' at shapes, faces, objects and their visual 'simulation' through a painting medium.My current work gravitates around these ideas and whilst at a first glace, it seems to contain a kind of obsession with medieval/religious imagery altered through a Pop filter (combined with a sense of fantasy, imagined entities/landscapes, Pop Surrealism perhaps) the internal framework is constructed around colour and...
