Colette Cosentino

Colette Cosentino tends to paint the idyllic mindset. A "heavenly" atmospheric vision in the midst of an ever increasingly changing and fearful world. The world as we know it is changing at such a rate that one can no longer be fully aware. In an attempt to connect and grant the viewer a sense of sanctuary, she paints retreat like imaginary settings. Colette has had a 30 year career as an artist, creating murals and wall coverings as well as paintings, illustrations and drawings. She works in her flagship Atelier in Downtown Santa Barbara, California, where she creates and exhibits her work.
