Conor O’Grady is an Irish visual artist whose practice centres on landscape, memory, and atmosphere. Working primarily in watercolour, his paintings explore the quiet tension between observation and emotion, often drawing from rural environments shaped by isolation, weather, and time.
His work is characterised by a restrained palette and a sensitivity to light, where forms emerge and dissolve, suggesting places that feel both familiar and uncertain. Through this approach, O’Grady engages with landscape not only as a physical space but as a site of memory and psychological resonance.
He has developed his practice through a combination of exhibitions and artist residencies, allowing for periods of focused research and reflection that continue to inform his evolving body of work.
