Abdoulie Conteh – Visionary Artist & Founder of Worldinality
Abdoulie Conteh was born in The Gambia and is now based in Senegal, where he continues his journey as an inspirational artist. His work is not only a celebration of creativity but also a powerful advocacy for peace, unity, and the oneness of humanity.
A true visionary, Abdoulie believes that art is more than expression—it is a bridge that connects people across cultures, nations, and borders. Through his imagination, he has given birth to a new concept: WORLDINALITY, with the motto “Worldinality Beyond Nationality.” This philosophy embodies the belief that we all belong to one world, and that togetherness in vision can create a better future. Worldinality Project Abdoulie’s dream is to unite art and farming as tools for harmony. He envisions a world where creativity and cultivation work hand in hand to regulate peace, foster sustainability, and allow free movement without borders. His art speaks of hope, while his farming initiatives ground that hope in the soil of reality—nourishing both people and planet.

Primary school education 1979-1985. Secondary education 1986-1988
My first participation in an art exhibition was the first exhibition organized by the Gambia National Council for Art and Culture. I was awarded a certificate.
My first exhibition abroad was at the African Centre, Covent Garden UK from April 25th – May 2nd year 2000.
The second exhibition was at the Trinity Gallery in Kent UK from October – November 3rd year 2003.
Third exhibition at the Grange Art Gallery and Museum, the Green Rottingdean UK October 19th – the 31st year 2006.
First joined exhibition with British Artist John Armstrong was a witness and open by the Mayor of Brighton at St Luke's Studio from March 18, 2006, our show was featured by the Gambia Observer newspaper and the United Colours and the Argus UK.
The second exhibition with John Armstrong was opened by another mayor of Brighton Garry Peltzer Dunn July 6th – the 18th year of 2009.
Third exhibition with John Armstrong at the Hove Kitchen April 27th – May 16th year 2014.
John Armstrong and I themed (Artist Together) have successfully joined and painted one canvas titled (WAR AND PEACE). Interested in those paintings let us know.
Two of my artworks were purchased by Oxfam and printed into gift cards.
