Eduardo Costa Pinto

My name is Eduardo Costa Pinto, and I was born and live in São Paulo, Brazil.
Working with photography has been a dream since I was a teenager and has gradually come true over the past thirty years.
I began learning photography through a few courses, but my influence and learning came over the years as an assistant in the studios of some important names in Brazilian photography. I consider them generous teachers.
Alongside my commercial work, I develop photographic series with the clear intention of telling stories, both lived and dreamed. I am a photographer, and photography is my means of expression. I accept my inability to express feelings and emotions with words, but I sincerely strive to do so through images.
I believe that images can be used to tell stories and, if done with power and honesty, can profoundly affect people, perhaps even moving and transforming them.

My learning started with courses and mainly with generous Brazilian masters / idols with whom I had the opportunity to assist in the studio.
