Yan-Eric Cote

Born in Sainte-Agathe, Québec, on april 9, 1974,
Yan-Éric Côté grew up with a manifest passion for drawing and creating.
Self taught, he began painting in 2000, exploring different styles,
leading to his En l’ère Collection, inspired by the changing moods of the sky,
the strength and calm of the dancing trees,
the vibrant colours of the automn leaves that swirl in the wind.
Always fascinated by the landscapes that surround him,
he lets himself be captured by the beauty of nature,
then he gives these landscapes back brightness, colour and richness.
When he creates, Yan-Éric must empty his mind and filter the phenomena
he comes across to materialize his inner visions.
To him, an image harenesses and diffuses energy.
In the simple and authentic style that characterizes him,
Yan-Éric takes great pleasure in embellishing that which meets the eye.
His need to create is inexhaustible;
his productivity, his way of life.
