Cristina Cavallari

I'm a creative person. I started drawing during my childhood as a magic place to hide. Growing up I decided to study art and I worked as graphic designer. I made a change after few years experiencing challenging, creative works as pottery painter and dressmaker of children's clothes. I focused on working as a crafter with multiple materials because it encourages me to explore a limitless world. I also paint watercolours. I'm currently working with acrylics experimenting different techniques. Through my paintings I try to share my sense of wonderment that I experience while creating. The process is extremely intuitive and I don't really know what will be the final result on my canvas. Nowdays I work as a potter. Clay allows me to appreciate, through its slow rhythms, the possibility to experiment, create freely and discover infinite forms. I find inspiration in the natural world, which I interpret through my irregular creations, as imperfect as they are unique. Whether it’s shaping a simple cup or a decorative vase, each piece made with care and passion brings a piece of my creative spirit.
