Cristina Crispin

I was born in Los Angeles, California at March 1st,1955 and grew up in Sao Paulo - Brasil .When a teenager ,I lived in Hawaii with my family, where I had the first contact with art in drawing classes , jewel making, sculpture, linoleum engraving etc I like to paint still life, places, people, everything that in a certain way , touches my heart.Frequently , I turn my view to my inner universe, from which I get my inspiration to transmit feelings and emotions that words cannot express.Since a young girl I have special interest in portraits , for the possibility that they offer to reveal the wealth within each person.

I attended University at Pontificia Universidade Catolica (PUC) ,for a teaching degree,moved to Assis, interior of Sao Paulo State , where I raised my family.After 20 years of dedication to the family I started painting classes with the artist Marta Hanschkow in Assis. Today ,I dedicate myself to drawing and painting in my search for personal and professional development.
