Daniel Piras

Daniel Piras always wanted to be a painter.
He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, where he
studied Painting, Sculpture and the Baroque.
Light and shadows technique is a particularity of his work.
The painting, through a simple and an unpretentious point of view, shows the Brazilian routine, people ́s customs and folkway.
In his wish to reproduce the oneiric life, he discovers new ideals and shares with the world his own way of being a painter.
Born in 1981 in Rio de Janeiro, is now living in Florianópolis, in a house surrounded by the Atlantic Forest.
