Danika Borruso

I am an artist living in the suburbs of Long Island, New York. I live a fairly happy life. I work in the human services.

I studied fine arts painting at Pratt Institute for the first two years of university. I finished my BA in studio arts in 1995. I also have a training in the digital arts, which I also enjoy creating.

I exhibited my painting "Self Portrait with Wings" at the LGBT Network building on Long Island in 2024. It was a showcase of LGBT artworks. Outside that I have not exhibited since about 1999. I had shown in some galleries and art organizations in New York in the 90's. I also was represented by the Green Tara Gallery in Cary, NC in the late 90's.

Fun Fact: My first solo exhibition was senior year of high school at the annual awards ceremony where I was voted most artistic.
