Dani Sherman is a multidisciplinary visual artist based out of Ottawa, Ontario.
Growing up in a family of artists and musicians, Dani's artistic journey began at a young age. Driven by her passion for vibrant colors and visual arts, she started her creative career working in photography and graphic design.
In 2020, Dani stepped into the world of contemporary art with her “Dreamwalker” collection. The following year, Dani released the first of her ongoing series of abstract bubbles titled "In My Own Little Bubble." This vibrant and expressive series is her way of reflecting on her own unique experience of being a late-diagnosed adult woman with ADHD.
Dani’s use of movement, color, and texture convey the feelings of chaos, playfulness, and the need for self-reflection that come with living with ADHD. Every dot placed on her canvas represents a fragment of thought or a fleeting moment of focus, amidst the swirling constellations of her mind.
Not only is Dani passionate about art, but she dedicates her spare time to raising awareness about ADHD in women and advocates for victims of domestic violence. Dani's commitment to these causes is one of the many ways she expresses her creative spirit beyond her art.
