Danny Englander

I started creating art as a teenager when I got my first camera. I started with black and white film which I learned how to develop in a school darkroom and then started to experiment with slide films such as Kodachrome and specialty films such as Kodak Infrared and Technical Pan. I also learned a lot about art history and Ansel Adams fast became one of my idols.

Over the years, I focused on photography and in the mid 1990s, I discovered the art of digital imaging primarily with learning how to use Photoshop. Over the years, I started to combine my real photographs with digital manipulation which brought me much joy.

Fast forward to 2022 and I started using AI digital imaging to create images. In a sense, I am now doing "post-photography" via this incredible technology.
