Dara Schuman

I am a fine-art potter focused on elevating and pushing the limits of traditional wheel-thrown vessels. I create refined and bespoke vases that are uniquely shaped with curves, sharp edges, and deep ridges. Intended for luxury homes and design projects, my aim is to create modern, inventive, and sophisticated art.

Living in a high rise in the heart of Chicago, my inspiration comes from the cityscape that sprawls around me. My work aims to reflect, but also fantasize and further modernize, the urban structures that surround me.
