I am a Cuban American artist and photographer, retired combat veteran, former EMT and police officer, federal employee, part-time actor, and member of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. My life has been shaped by service, creativity, and a wide range of human experiences. Through my travels and professional roles, I have witnessed both the brightest and darkest sides of humanity—experiences that deeply inform my artistic vision

My multidisciplinary practice explores identity, perception, human connection, and the quiet beauty of the natural world. Through abstract portraiture, photography, painting, sketching, and digital drawing, I examine the emotional character of people, places, natural forms, and everyday objects. My subjects include photographic portraits, landscapes, florals, trees, and still-life compositions.

Working with pencil, paper, canvas, paint, computers, professional cameras, and the iPhone, I move between traditional and digital processes according to the needs of each concept. Expressive line, form, light, shadow, texture, and color create a consistent visual language across these media.
