I’ve spent more than five decades creating art across painting, drawing, collage, mixed media, and digital compositions. Much of this work lived privately in the studio until recently, when I began the long process of cataloging and releasing this lifetime archive to collectors.
My practice blends structural clarity with distortion and emotional charge — a form of Graphic Surrealism shaped by both commercial design precision and fine‑art depth. The originals carry the tactile presence of years of hands‑on studio work, while my digital‑by‑hand abstractions offer clean, contemporary compositions that scale beautifully for residential, corporate, and hospitality environments.
Across this archive, the range is unlike anything found in a single artist’s body of work. I move freely from painterly atmospherics to geometric precision; from surreal narratives to merged knickknack abstractions; from landscapes and still lifes to pieces that are humorous, contemplative, industrial, patterned, ethnic, or deliberately provocative. My hand‑drawn digital abstractions are entirely original — never AI‑generated — and my collage‑styled paintings reinterpret the visual DNA of great masters through my own lens. Nothing is off limits: colored pencil,...
Foundational Studies in Fine Art
My formal path began with two intensive years at a local community college—a period I credit as the primary catalyst for my technical discipline and creative outlook. This was followed by further studies at the University of Washington, solidifying a foundation in both classical and contemporary theory.
Early Adoption of Digital Media
I took the digital revolution head‑on, teaching myself the emerging tools of computer‑based image making and integrating them into both commercial art and my fine art practice. Long before AI or contemporary digital workflows, I was creating original digital compositions and hybrid works that expanded my visual vocabulary and informed my approach to painting.
Lifelong Self‑Directed Study
My most significant development has come from a lifelong immersion in the mechanics of visual language—over 50 years of disciplined daily practice and an exhaustive study of international gallery and museum collections. This dual path, combining structured academic training with decades of independent visual research, allows me to bridge traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary, digitally informed perspective.
Public Display Through Online Galleries (2024–present)
Works featured on global art platforms reaching international collectors.
Independent Studio-Based Practice (ongoing)
As a private artist, I choose not to participate in in‑person gallery events or public receptions. I prefer to let the work speak for itself, allowing collectors to connect with each piece directly and without the noise of social performance.
Digital Exhibitions of Curated Works (ongoing)
Self‑curated presentations of new and archival pieces, offering collectors direct access to my evolving practice without the constraints of traditional gallery formats.
Featured in Saatchi Art Collections (ongoing)
Multiple works selected for curated online collections, reflecting growing engagement from international collectors.
