My studio practice is built on a lifetime of creative risk and an absolute commitment to nonconformity. Following a three-decade foundation in visual design, my current fine art practice spans a massive, newly unveiled 50-year archive of physical paintings and hand-drawn digital compositions. Foundational Studies in Fine Art
My formal path began with two intensive years at a local community college—a period I credit as the primary catalyst for my technical discipline and creative outlook. This was followed by further studies at the University of Washington, solidifying a foundation in both classical and contemporary theory.

Early Adoption of Digital Media
I took the digital revolution head‑on, teaching myself the emerging tools of computer‑based image making and integrating them into both commercial art and my fine art practice. Long before AI or contemporary digital workflows, I was creating original digital compositions and hybrid works that expanded my visual vocabulary and informed my approach to painting.

Lifelong Self‑Directed Study
My most significant development has come from a lifelong immersion in the mechanics of visual language—over 50 years of disciplined daily practice and an exhaustive study of international gallery and museum collections.
