Dave Wood

My passion is the art of lettering. I have been fortunate to have a career originally as a graphic designer and lettering artist and more recently as a paper sculpture artist combing calligraphy. I enjoy setting myself a challenge with each project, interpreting the text in an endeavour to create a pleasing aesthetic work of art. Over the 50 years of my career, I have explored many different mediums including original artworks, works on vellum, paper sculpture works as well as Artist's Books - one-of-a-kind and limited editions.
I continue to enjoy my artistic journey, exploring the never-ending possibilities of the lettering arts.
