David Buetsche

David Buetsche is a contemporary mixed-media artist based in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region. His work explores erosion, memory, structural failure, and shifting American narratives through collage, paint, abrasion, and salvaged materials. Working between abstraction and fragmented landscape, Buetsche builds layered surfaces that feel weathered, unstable, and partially recovered. Influenced by industrial environments, architecture, and the visual language of labor, his paintings examine what remains visible after time, tension, and collapse reshape a place or image.
