David Soumekh

In my youth I studied Art and architecture Architecture at Manchester Polytechnic, and at Huddersfield School of Architecture. After completing Architectural Studies in the UK I moved to Los Angeles and  in 1986 opened an Architectural Design studio. My interests led me to become engaged in manufacturing and industrial design, enabling me to develop a rather unique understanding of, and a gift for, commercial and fine-art production.

I like to explore the nature of consciousness through the mediums of form, color, texture, and light . To draw back the filters veils and curtains and allow for the purest expressions of self to flow onto the canvas.
