Daniel César

I was born in Natal, RN, in 1990. Since my adolescence, I have had an interest in psychedelic culture, which exerts a noticeable influence on my work. My attraction to abstract art began during History classes at the University, between 2012 and 2013, when I started creating, in a self-taught and intuitive manner, drawings using recyclable materials.

After a period of pause in my production, I resumed artistic expression in 2019. It was at this moment, when interacting with collectors and other artists, that I was able to understand and refine my creative process. I have already held two solo exhibitions independently, in 2022 and 2023, in the historic center of Natal, showcasing my style of abstraction with both geometric and organic lines.

I perceive the role of the abstract artist as one who seeks to establish an exchange between difference and estrangement, both in relation to oneself and to reality. In the profusion of sensations from this connection, I understand that the fabric of abstract composition invents and unveils itself.
