Born 1949 in Ohio, USAAward winning photographer currently working out of St. Louis, Missouri, USA. A key to his work is avoiding the potential reaction, "I've got a camera; I could to that." He is innovative in creating not just new objects of art, but new forms of art.
B.S. Physics, M.S. Optics. Mr. Coblitz started as a Holographer, but morphed into a visual systems engineer for a long, successful career from which he retired in late 2006. He then started a second career in photographic art. At times, he's able to apply his life long interest in human visual perception and image processing to creating art work that may cause some to react by asking how it was done. Mr. Coblitz took 1st place in the advertising division of SEEN 2007 at Studio Altius in St. Louis. He had two pieces selected and exhibited at their Gallery 210 in 2007 by the Univ of Missouri St. Louis as among the top 50 photos of St. Louis . He has exhibited in numerous St. Louis Artists' Guild exhibitions including at the Brentwood Gallery in Brentwood, MO.
