Deborah Argyropoulos

I have always wanted to be an artist from as early as I can remember. I am a passionate person, and once I set a goal it is almost impossible to knock me off course from achieving it. I have never been one to shy away from adversity or a challenge, so different commentary enlisted over the years to keep me from pursuing an art career, such as; how unlikely and difficult it would be to gain the kind of public following and gallery/curator recognition necessary to make creating fine art a career; as good as you are there are so many great artists out there, so talent is no guarantee you will succeed; or even if you are able to overcome the before mentioned challenges; will you have the pure luck to make the stars align... I am just glad I'm one of those people that look at these things as the insecurities that may cripple others, but reinforce my inner strength and allow me too persevere. I was blessed to have the inclination, need, talent, and tenacity to be an artist; overcoming the negative, and fully utilizing my positives getting there was just part of the process.
